OUR MISSION
Love
The foundation of our school, Adventures in Wonderland Nursery School, is built on LOVE. We are fully inclusive and provide a happy, non-racial environment, where children learn to love and care for everyone. Every child must feel loved, nurtured and cared for, as without that initial foundation, the child will not settle well, nor absorb any curriculum.
Therefore, our aim – first and foremost – is to provide a nourishing emotionally stable environment where your child feels confident and secure in the dedicated care of our loving, long-serving Staff. With this foundation, your child feels confident to enjoy all parts of the curriculum set out.
Our quality of education and high level of care provides every child with a solid foundation for when they move on to Primary School. The Pre-school years are a critical period for any child, therefore we build the firm foundational blocks for lifelong learning. We empower each child to have their own voice and confidence to encounter any situation, by encouraging perseverance, adaptability and time for reflection with the choices they make.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED
Adventures in Wonderland Nursery School is located in North Riding, Randburg. We are a registered Independant Pre-school, specialising in Pre-school Education (Elda’s) from ages 4 months to 6 years: Grade R – (Grade 0). We have a fully-equipped, well-staffed creche catering for babies from 4 months of age.
WHAT WE OFFER
All our facilities provide wide-open spaces for your child to play. Play is a powerful tool in your child’s development. Our Adventures children are encouraged to test their strengths by climbing, clambering, running, sliding, swinging, building and using their imagination.
CLASS SCHEDULES
Our class schedules are structured around age groups, ensuring that your child is learning and playing with peers of similar abilities and interests. We offer a balance of free play and structured play, where children can explore their creativity and learn new skills in a fun and engaging way.
